Most beginner classes teach you what to do. This one is built around why
it isn't working yet; the small, specific technical details that quietly cap your progress long after you've learned the choreography.
Over five days, Burlov Dance School founder Kirill Burlov takes you back to first principles:
alignment, weight transfer, timing, and the mechanics behind every "basic" movement you
thought you already knew.
This isn't a beginner class. It's a diagnostic. We go back to basics on every single movement to find exactly where your technique has gaps. By the end of five
days you'll know exactly which habits have been holding you back, and how to fix them.
Whats included

Who it's for
This is not an absolute beginners' course. You should already have a basic understanding of ballet and have done at least a handful of classes, or come from a strong background in another dance style or sport.
We will break every movement down to its absolute fundamentals, but that's to find and fix what you've missed, not to teach you the alphabet from scratch. If you have some ballet grounding, or solid training in another discipline, you'll be fine.

aBOUT kIRILL
Kirill has performed and worked on stage from a very early age, always connected to dance. In his prime, he performed and built works by top world choreographers, always learning from the best - whether Tanzwochen Summer School or Gaga with Ohad Naharin.
His UK career includes collaborations with Northern Ballet, English National Ballet, the Royal Opera House, Rambert, Michael Clark Dance Company, and many others. From an early age, he trained and performed across a variety of disciplines, drawing together whatever has worked for him - and now shares it with his students.
His training includes a full-time lower and upper ballet school education and a four-year full-time degree in teaching and choreography from the Latvian Music Academy, followed in the UK by further study at Leeds Metropolitan and London School of Contemporary Dance.
He has taught in parallel to his performing career throughout, and has always been fascinated by how some things come easily to beginners and are very difficult for professionals and vice versa. ~ This course grew directly out of that curiosity.
